General Baseball Information
Northwest Christian Sports League offers the following boys and girls baseball, softball, and teeball divisions:

While NCSL baseball follows Official Baseball Rules, we make a few minor changes in some divisions.

It is recommended that all parents read and review the rules with their children prior to the first game.
We now have dozens of fields at sites spanning from Smokey Point to Bothell and from Edmonds to Snohomish.

Teams and coaches are selected based on the children's requests and skill levels.

Practices are held once or twice a week at varying times and locations.
No practices or meetings are ever held on Sundays.
Specific times and locations will be announced by your child's coach.

Most games are held on Saturdays at varying times and locations.
(If your division has an odd number of teams, we may have to schedule a game during the week.)

Both full and partial scholarships are available during early registration for those who need them.

Fundraisers and Donations
NCSL is not funded by any church, and relies solely on registration fees, fundraisers, and the generous donations of parents and sponsors.
Each year, we hold a fundraiser during the baseball season.

They will need to practice catching.
Baseball Shoes (required):
They should have an extra cleat at the toe. (Soccer shoes without the extra cleat can optionally be used.)
They will need an appropriate size for their age. Ask at the equipment store for details.
For 7+ boys, this should only be worn for protection by the catcher, if desired.
Some players like their own special bat. This is allowed.
